Keep on a draining soap dish away from running water to help the bar last. Store in a cool, dry place.
The Craft | Made by Hand
Our soaps are made the traditional way, by cold process. Oils and butters are blended by hand, left to cure in open air for four to six weeks, then cut and stamped one bar at a time. It is slower than most methods, and there is no shortcut to the four weeks.

Coconut Oil
Pressed from the kernel of the coconut. Naturally rich in medium-chain fatty acids, long valued for its softening and skin-conditioning properties. Sourced from Mozambique.
Shea Butter
The West African variety is the most studied botanical butters in cosmetic science; for good reason. Rich in fatty acids, it is known for its moisturising and skin-softening properties. Sourced from Ghana & Burkina Faso.
Sunflower Oil
Cold-pressed from sunflower seeds. High in linoleic acid, valued for its light texture and skin-conditioning properties. Sourced from Tanzania.
Lemongrass Essential Oil
Steam-distilled from lemongrass leaves. Sourced from Zanzibar.
Palm Oil
RSPO-certified, from sustainably managed plantations. Long used in soap-making for the firm, long-lasting bar it produces.
Origin Story
Lemongrass Handmade Soap
Lemongrass grows at the edges of things here, along paths and around the edges of gardens, cut for tea more often than anything else. The smell when you break a stem is unmistakable, sharp and green and clean.
This soap is made with lemongrass oil distilled on the island, worked into a base of Coconut, Sunflower and Palm, with Shea butter for softness.
