What started in Zanzibar now reaches hotels, spas and homes across East Africa and beyond. We carry that journey proudly.
The Craft | Magic Makers
Every jar, every bottle, every tin of Inaya begins in the hands of someone real. Meet the Magic Makers, the women behind every batch, every fold, every finishing touch.
Each of them signs their work. Look for the initials on your product's batch number by the best before date, and you'll find the person who made it, right here.
The Promise | Our Commitment
Every batch we make carries the same intention it did in 2013: care, without compromise.
We choose botanicals for what they are, not what they claim to be. We work in small batches, by hand, because some things cannot be rushed. We are mindful of our footprint, in our processes and in our packaging, and we work continuously toward doing this a little better with every batch.
We strive to use African botanicals, oils and butters whenever we can, believing deeply in their richness and the generations of tradition behind them. Our products are vegan, and we do not test on animals.
We stay honest about what our products can do, and equally honest about what they cannot. Our focus has always been simple: skin that feels cared for, and looks healthy and naturally radiant. Our formulas are assessed for safety and compliance before they ever reach you, and they will keep evolving, as ingredients, science and regulations do. What will never change is our care.
The Care | Magic Keepers
Behind every email, every call, every answered question, there's a person. Meet the Magic Keepers, the people behind quality control, logistics, sales and customer care, and everything in between, making sure every promise we make is kept.
The Welcome | Magic Senders
Walk into our flagship store in Stone Town and these are the women who greet you. They are also the ones who send every online order on its way.
If you have ordered from us, one of them put that parcel together. She chose the box, wrapped each piece, checked it against your order twice, and wrote the card before sealing it.
Standing behind that counter all day is part of why they are good at it. They know which soap people come back for. They know what to say when someone cannot decide. So when your order leaves Zanzibar, it has been handled the way it would be if you had walked in and bought it yourself. The signature on the card in the box belongs to one of them.

The Magic | Behind the Scenes
This is where the magic actually happens.
Oils are measured, butters are whipped, soaps are cut and wrapped by hand. Step behind the scenes and watch Inaya come to life, one batch at a time.
