The Care | How to Store
Keep on a draining soap dish away from running water to help the bar last. Store in a cool, dry place.
The Craft | Made by Hand
Our soaps are made the traditional way, by cold process. Oils and butters are blended by hand, left to cure in open air for four to six weeks, then cut and stamped one bar at a time. It is slower than most methods, and there is no shortcut to the four weeks.
Each Zebra bar is poured in layers, so no two sets of stripes are quite the same.

Origin Story
Zebra Handmade Soap
Ten years ago this was a limited edition. It was supposed to be made once.
We had wondered, idly and without much seriousness, what a zebra might smell like. Not the animal, which smells of dust and grass like everything else on the plain, but the idea of one. Something striped. Something bright on one side and deep on the other. What we arrived at was mandarin and lime over jasmine and pineapple, sharp and sweet in the same breath, and a bar poured black and white in layers so no two came out the same.
It never went away. Ten years on, it is one of the first things people ask for.
